    On March 17, East Oakland-based Youth Uprising hosted an event welcoming incoming Alameda County Chief Probation Officer David Muhammad. Muhammad has plans to drastically reform the department for the betterment of East Bay youth and adult offenders. He gave a brief presentation on his ideas. Others also spoke about him and his plans for change.
