Probably my pick of album of the year so far - Metronomy's The English Riviera. The track's called Corrine.

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart with the wicked track Anne with an E off the Sophomore album Belong. A darker sound this time round.

Ringo Deathstarr. What an awesome name. The track's called Imagine Hearts. Keeping the shoegaze revival going.

Sweden's Lykke Li's back with her distinct brand of pop. The track's called love out of lust.

The Correspondents with "What's happened to Soho?" Very timely as London's Soho is not quite what is used to be.

      A bit of T'Pau from 1987. I couldn't resist.

Again, another recent Erol Alkan rework. This is the remix of MGMT's Congratulations from last year. Top notch and adds an extra layer of funk.

Photek - one of the more established D&B and electronic artists in the UK. The track is called Slowburn.

The Beasties are back. This is crazy ass shit. Check out the 30 minute accompanying video here - http://bit.ly/iYlsEc featuring Will Ferrel, Jack Black and a host of others. Worth a look!

Connan Mockasin - Forever Dolphin Love (Erol Alkan Rework). The group is from Te Awanga in New Zealand. I've featured Erol's work many times before - one of the hotter underground remixers at the moment here in London.
