queen-bee-cant-stop-me
I had this song with a real 'second hand shop' feel and it was based around two elements. A slightly creepy guitar melody, and a wonky Melotron part.
Later I was travelling on a 139 bus along Abbey Road when this nonsensical lyric occurred to me. "Queen Bee, You can't stop me." I imagined it being sung by some kind of A.I. computer becoming self aware and declaring war on its own headquarters.
Along the way I threw a lot of sounds at this one. If my new idea didn't fit, I'd switch everything off without saving and come back another day. The things that stuck, stayed and over time the track became finished.
