i like the beat a lot but i think here maybe the kick/snare should have less verb so the other parts that come in can shine... maybe even drop the beat for the first bar the bass comes in?

I really dig the "Kraftwerk"-like computational hookline. I wonder if some day a comuter will be able to solve the problem ;-)

Mad styles! Its like what rain would sound like if the Earth was a giant midi controller
-
@Sub-Zero.1: That'd be pretty cool if the Earth was a giant midi controller ... actually - that gives me an idea for a Burning Man art installation! haha

Great track but lose the first minute to give it that kick....As a DJ, I'd be que'ing it about a minute in.
-
@djumb: Thanks for the advice ... I might do something like that ...

cool track - bassline might need a little work as it sounds a bit like a trumpet?
-
@disapia: I played this track last night at an afterparty and a chick said I should lower the volume cause she thought the "farty sounding bass" was going to blow the speakers. The volume was like at 10%. I'm not sure how to feel about that - haha. Regardless, what kind of timbre would you suggest for this bassline? I kind of like the trombone-ish sounding bass.

this sample manipulation is ill as hell...i love the way it sounds like a radio station switching in the background, reminds me of driving thru cuba in a car listening to dubstep hearing all the music of the area in the background
-
@GravityCafe: thank you! I think the sample manipulation is either hit or miss ... my friend told me it sounded like a skipping record and some people like it ... maybe you just need to be under the influence of something to really like it :-p

In my head, i'd like the high wobble to follow over the low wobble here, just for those last 2 to 3 bars of wobble, just let it ride.
-
@Shatterfreak: I think I know what you mean ... I'll fix that part. thanks for commenting so soon after I posted the track!
