NOWTHEN played band circuits in Leeds and Liverpool including regular appearances at the world famous CAVERN CLUB before securing a residency at IBIZA ROCKS CLUB NME night in 2008. Throughout they supported the biggest up and coming names in the business.

Returning to Leeds for an adopted homecoming gig supporting in Alabama 3 to a sell out audience in the newly opened Leeds 02 Academy venue, NOWTHEN returned to Ibiza Mid 2009 to start work on their debut album.

Due to setbacks with the original producer, NOWTHEN found themselves spending the year in Ibiza sleeping in cars, tents, squats, caves, generally re-establishing their contact with nature, mother earth, the universe and honing their sound. Following a series of critically acclaimed performances on the island the band came to the attention of island resident and top class producer Henry Sarmiento, who is currently working with some of the worlds most successful artists.

Having just released a live studio EP from Henry’s Sonic Vista Studios, the idea of this first offering is to show that unlike most of the artists currently around they are extensively a live experience and want to challenge the current status quo of what people desire from their listening experience.
