Note to Self: Don’t Die! take their name from a favourite Ryan Adams song.
Their sound blossoms from americana to relentless fuzzed out wall of sound pop. Dark, gritty and full of swagger they are independent and uncompromising and often switch instruments mid-set. Note to Self: Don’t Die! are like a raucous road trip through the American night blending Bacharach inspired arrangements to after hours jazz and blues, gothic stomps through bayous and bordellos to suburban garages and fuzz pedals.
