Northsound Radio began broadcasting to Aberdeen and the North-east in July 1981 from studios in Kingsgate, Aberdeen.

July 2011 marks our 30th Birthday and to celebrate the occasion we challenged Griegsy to track down the voices behind the first day of broadcast.
