Currently known as the "the man behind It Came From The Jungle" (BPM), "King of the underground Drum & Bass jungle" (CAPE ARGUS) and "Cape Town's Drum & Bass stalwart" (MIXMAG), Niskerone was raised on the dusty streets of Mitchell’s Plain in the heart of the notorious Cape Flats.

Aside from pleasing hundreds of revellers each week at his It Came From The Jungle clubnight at Fiction DJ Bar in Cape Town, Niskerone’s energetic and innovative style of mixing has entertained crowds from festivals to club dance floors nationally and internationally. It’s also secured him stage and billing alongside industry leaders such as Pendulum, Busta Rhymes, David Guetta, The Bloody Beetroots, 2 Many DJs, Andy C, Rusko, Foreign Beggars, Sub Focus, Caspa, Doctor P, Richie Hawtin, Chuckie, Loco Dice, DJ Fresh UK and many others. Niskerone has since extensively toured Belgium, Holland, Germany, Spain and Sweden, the most recent of which included sets at Spain’s famous 50,000 strong Monegros Desert Festival.

Locally, Niskerone has received headline slots at nearly every major festival including RAM Fest, Synergy Live, Rezonance, Earthdance, Oppikoppi and Rocking The Daisies and is one of only a few artists that can lay claim to currently having 3 residencies in 3 different locations across South Africa.
