An oldie, but a goodie, Snow in May first came to me back in 2002. Since then it's been a love/hate relationship; Somehow I couldn't manage to find a way to sing it nor a key in which it would sound good. In the end, inspired by my wonderful sister Anine's version of the tune, I managed to get back on track and this take is from Portugal where it finally came together on tape on a D-tuned guitar.

Still working on the sound and mix, and might try to add Anine in there for some variation; she sings it amazingly well and I hope our voices suit one another.

    Snow in May

    Why, oh why
    Did you have to go?
    Does it have to snow
    in May?
    My walls sigh
    You're so far, and I
    I just sit
    Endlessly

    And I need you here
    I'd make you feel fine
But there's so far to go
    And why does,
    does it have to snow?

    Usually we fall in
    in May
    Does it have
    to be called off?
    My heart aches
and my senses fall in shade
    And I just sit
    Endlessly

    'cos I need you here
    I'd make you feel fine
    There's so far to go
    And why does,
    does it have to snow?
