nicron is zsolt olejnik from budapest, hungary. born in pécs, in 1977. between 1997 and 2002 studied architects at university of pécs, from 2003 studying software engineering at university of győr in addition to self-improving graphic and sound design, sound synthesis and programming. has been actively working on sound compositions, live performances, radio shows, web applications, working as a senior designer and lead flash developer.

in 1998 he formed the band porousher, which was influenced by minimal and conceptual art besides experimental electronic music. porousher disbanded in 2002 and formed into a homepage. nicron has since curated its content and designated the object of developing sound installations, internet based sound applications, furthermore preparing sound competitions for visitors. this project has been closed in 2007, and nicron is focusing on his sounds, live sets and radio shows now.

nicron aims to create such conceptual sound compositions that are unique in structural setting up and phonation. he strives for cleared sound shapes and abstract structures and beats within the digital domain in a way, that the product will continue to be able to evoke a reaction from the listener on emotional and intellectual level.
