Something about this kick is a bit wonky before it blends in with the rest of the mix. It feels old school but not necessarily in a good way... kind of like a muddy pumped out 505. It doesn't seem to happen as the rest of track continues, only when it's first introduced and then again at the end.

@djbasic: Updated the mix description with the track listing. Glad you love it. The track dropped in around 7:20 is an unknown white label I had picked up in Detroit in 1999. Kudos to anyone who can find the artist.

Probably one of my most favorite acid trax. I found this old definitive record in some shitty Detroit record shop.
There's a couple early cracks and pops in the beginning of this mix but they don't last.
