About
Maker of music, dreamer of dreams.
I am a musician, songwriter, media composer, record collector, DJ and remixer based in London.
Highly experienced, with 23 years in the industry, I possess an extensive network of music industry talent, broadcasters and executives. All this, coupled with imagination and tenacity, adds real value to the projects I undertake. My big break came working as a ‘tape op’ at Beatles producer George Martin’s flagship recording facility Air Studios in London.
I have released material on various indie labels including Marble Bar, React, Pussyfoot, Body Clap, Wall Of Sound, Ultimate Dilemma and XL Recordings offshoot Rex Records.
I've worked with artists as diverse as soul singer John Turrell, Ivor Novello winning songwriter Alison Clarkson (better known as Betty Boo), Icelandic singer/songwriter Emiliana Torrini and the hilarious Cuban Brothers. I've remixed chart acts like Kylie Minogue and The Sugababes as well as underground guitar bands.
My music has been used in worldwide advertising campaigns for Adidas, Toyota, Nokia, Carlsberg, Motorola, Kellog's, Tiger Beer, Johnson's and many others.
I've written music for TV programmes broadcast on BBC One and Channel 4 and have been nominated for a D&AD Award for my work with directors Tokyo Plastic.
In 2006 I scored my first short film "Samurai", an animated tale directed by Three Legged Legs and in 2010 I scored my first full-length feature documentary "Bodysnatchers Of New York" directed by Toby Dye which has since gone on to win a prestigious Grierson award.
I soundtracked Ice T's documentary feature Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap, compiling and editing the commercial tracks and composing the original cues.
