StB was born Steven Emilio Gonzalez in Union City, New Jersey and raised in South Florida. He found a love for music as a dj at the age of 14. Eventually, Steven embraced his poetic skills and began writing rhymes and recording them over his own beats. By the age of 17, StB had already penned songs with Treal (Universal Republic Records) and Soul Gee (Bad Boy Ent.) and is working on an album tentatively titled "V.I.O.L.E.T. (Violent Interpretation Of Left-field Ear Tinglers)".
