Biography:
Gordon Schissler, better known as New World, was born in 1990 in North Carolina. A violinist in his youth, Gordon grew up immersed in melody, and his musical family exposed him to a diversity of genres. In 2005, he set out to produce his own music, inspired by the sonic projects of his older brother. From the outset, Gordon explored a lot of musical terrain, ranging from ambient Rock to hard-hitting Hip-Hop. Through these experiments, Gordon developed a broad skill set that would prepare him for the Trance world.

After honing his sound for a several years, he released his first Trance single, “Boundless Light,” through Defcon Recordings in 2012. He then went on to complete many remixes, such as Defcon Audio – “Trailblazer (New World Remix)” and Dreamy – “Fusion (New World Remix).” These early releases have already had a great reception, both from fans and major DJs around the world.

A firm believer in balance, this upcoming Trance talent crafts tracks that highlight both the softer, symphonic side and the energetic side of his genre. New World’s purpose is simple: to imbue his work with meaning and depth.
