Newtimers - January Love

Second single off the upcoming release 'Ego'.
Written, produced, arranged, recorded and performed by Newtimers.
'January Love' will be released on Rec Rec Records, 30th of Jan 2012.
Newtimers are Andreas Cavaco and Tim Lundblad, both located in Stockholm, Sweden.
After working on album after album (still intentionally unreleased) for the Newtimers-project, and after writing and producing songs for numerous acts (they're both signed songwriters/producers), the guys got tired of their perfectionist ways and decided to be spontaneous to the fullest - presenting the second track off the upcoming album 'Ego'.

Smooth, relaxed and infused with a little 90′s New Jack sound for good measure. Big fan of Newtimers after being introduced to them last year, so much so they made my top 50 of 2011.

Sometime I like songs for the lead singers’ vocals. The lead vocals in this group are cool. He has this 80’s New Wave sound to his vocals. I love it!

They have got some good graphic design going on their album art as well as lay down a smooth buttered second song that brings more of that piano soul to their electronic vibes. “January Love” is obviously well timed to help keep a world of couples stay warm during these winter nights. And the rest of us just get to look forward to more from these guys.

Last week their second track was uploaded and it’s titled ‘January Love’. After hearing it, it’s safe to say Newtimers aren’t a one-time thing. We predict they might be dropping some really pleasant EP’s (Maybe even albums) in the near future.
