Saw him here in Dallas in March. Excellent show. Afterwards I went to the backstage door where he was visiting with a small crowd of audience members. I was just about to approach him when he finally decided to finish visiting. Never got my CD signed. Talk about a tough break. :(

@pharaoh45: And is that a good thing or not a good thing?

His voice is in great form and the lyrics are trademark Peter Murphy. As far as the style of the music is concerned, it is straight out of Deep.

This has the feeling of a song that comes first on the album, but is played as the final encore.
Going to see him tonight in Akron. We'll see how it goes.

I thought the song "I Spit Roses" was just ok, but I am going to buy the new CD "Ninth" of Peter Murphy when it's available, because, I buy anything and everything he puts out. Not only as a dedicated fan of his, but, also for all the great music he has made through the years. I had recently come across a band, that I mistakenly thought was Peter Murphy, called Anders Manga which is like, Nine Inch Nails meets Peter Murphy, especially on the song "Infinite Gaze to The Sun". I actually thought that is was Peter going hard core, when I first heard it, hard core type of songs like he used to do, with songs like "Cuts You Up", etc.

Excellent. He played several new songs at his recent show in New Orleans. I can't wait for the new album.

I hope the rest of the album has something to offer. I'm having a difficult time, trying to remember when I was more disappointed :(
