About
NerveJammer aka Roddy Graham started making music in 1986 on an Atari 520 and a little known application called Midi Studio. Later after being caught up in the rave scene sweeping the UK and Scotland, and being mesmerized by the weird and wonderful noises of the time 'upgraded' his studio with an Atari 1040 equipped with E-Magic's Notator coupled with the trusty Akai S950.
From 1994 through to 1997 he saw a string of releases on various Scottish and UK 'hardcore' labels such as Clubscene Records, Corrosion, Twisted Vinyl, Annihilator Records and Outcast Clan. Then, having a little extra spare cash he expanded his studio with more sought after analogue synths.
After the rave period died its death Roddy started to look to the likes of 'Regis, Jeff Mills and Joey Beltram for inspiration and the way forward. Throughout the noughties Roddy moved away from the heavy Techno sound to concentrate more on producing different musical styles and paying more attention to the audio engineering and mixing side of things.
Finally at the turn of the decade Roddy returned to Techno with an improved studio at his disposal and greater production knowledge than before and is looking forward to his first releases in 14 years on Dark & Sonorous, Aztech, Bunk3r R3cords & Anecdote Records.
The future is looking good!
