@Zack Smith 22: Oh, dear, you're right. Call of Duty has never had a soundtrack except beats and thumps. Oh, wait:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1VyJG-ze7w
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSzwc1FQ2jI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fr4iZnovAQNow, let's listen to some Halo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_2HdYRzr1M
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGqS1okHH60Then, Call of Duty takes a turn for electronic-based soundtracks:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsqQ7Jrmsmk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFuylKrQ-js
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKZRl32PAJkThen Battlefield 3 followed, and now Halo.
Yes, other TV shows have orchestral-based electronic music. In fact, one of my latest tracks does, too (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/501284). But, you see, the difference between films and TV shows and me, is that we're not also AAA shooters vying for the attention and money of the Call of Duty crowd: which, if you have eyes and ears, you have to admit that EVERY game is now trying to align itself with Call of Duty's gameplay mechanics in order to entertain that particular crowd.
That is the final thing I have to say on this matter. Please feel free to not bother responding, because I certainly won't.

@rampantmusik: Thank you, it's what I was always going for!!! ^_^ How about we stay on topic and leave petty insults that seem to be made by third graders out of it.
Now if you didn't realize cod never really had a "soundtrack" more or less beats and thumps, maybe a few orchestral keys here and there. But all of a sudden, when you hear it slightly come into Halo, you go and immediately assume that it's ripping off cod, then that goes to say that every video game, movie, television show, etc. ripped off cod if they have a slight techno beat added to their soundtracks in only one score?
No, and I think I can read just fine, but maybe you should have read the simple side comment made by Neil, he worked on the cinematic field, therefore does it really seem that out of context if he is making the music fit in with the parts in the game? No.
In my opinion and maybe strictly mine alone, I think Halo 4's soundtrack is doing fine, but from the majority of the comments I have read, I don't think I am alone. While listening to cod's soundtrack, I could not hear your so called rip off, either it's not there, or it skips my mind on how these two games soundtracks could even be comparable. Now go rant on the Battlefield 3 soundtracks if you really need to, but please don't come to what is possibly the farthest away genre of a soundtrack from cod in the entire gaming industry.

For all those complaining about it copying something else, just shut up. Who cares??? If it sounds good, which it DOES, no one gives a crap.

@Zack Smith 22: I think you need to learn how to read. I never said CoD was legendary. Now, if you don't think that this IS a rip-off of CoD, then you need to go and listen to how their soundtracks developed over time, and how other game soundtracks (including Halo and Battlefield) have followed it.Speaking of rip-offs, change your haircut: you look like a rip-off of Ellen DeGeneres.

@rampantmusik: Why must there be whiners such as yourself on other games? If cod is so absolutely Legendary then go play it's rip-off a** and stop bitching about what you wish would happen in your little imaginary world.
