About
I'm a computer-graphics character animator.I'm also a frustrated, part-time, not-so-good, singer, song-writer, producer, hobbyist, karaoke'ist (?) etc,etc.
I got the urge to have a go, hearing so many good songs and tunes on this site and spending many years whistling, singing, humming, tapping out tunes non-stop. Rather than using MS Sound Recorder and a crappy microphone, I thought I'd buy some gear and scratch that itch, so-to-speak.
I'm really enjoying myself, regardless of talent and...please, if you have a minute to give me some constructive criticism, that would be great.I get it all day, at work. It'll take something pretty special to phase me!
You know, you might do alright with this whole singing malarky thing! ;-) Fav'd.
Really enjoyed that.
You sound a lot like Randy Newman. I instantly had images of Toy Story when I heard this. :-)
Great sound! :-)
Excellent! Remonds me of Koto's Visitors. :-)
Nice tune, but I found it difficult to hear the vocals above the music.
Sorry. I didn't quite catch that. What day is it?
@Zoe Allan: Nooooooo. Bruce Hornsby's version is much better. Nothing against 2pac, mind. Fantastic mix, btw, FF. :-)
Who'd 'ave thought, eh? Awesome combination!
What a loveely, refreshing change from my last 30 minutes of dum, tish, dum, tish, dum, tish. Really made me listen. :-)
Some great sounds and a great track!
Quite lovely! :-)
@Dave McKeown: Her voice suits this perfectly. Brings back the NEWS images quite vividly.
Love all the atmosphere in these uploads. Did you all just happen to know the same songs? I can't comprehend how you all just start playing together... in the right key!
I had to stretch the window over two monitors to find a gap in the comments! Your voice sounds excellent! Nicely done.
@Transistersaurus Vexed: LOL! You can't help but think of that, can you? :-) Nicely done, Steve.
Would be nice to hear the piano cutting through here more with a bit of high-end EQ. Definitely a listenable tune. She's got a great voice and you've used the reverb to make it sit well, but I need to hear it. :-)
Nice reverse reverb into the vocals. Her voice is really clear here.
Unless it was deliberate, the levels of the vocals need to come up. It's very hard to hear the singer's voice through most of the track.
I can never tell how much of a remix is the original artist and how much is the remixer, but this is a great version and an excellent way to finish the set. Well done.
I started thinking, "Meh." Then ended up thinking, "Brilliant!" Excellent range of sounds.
Really liked that calming section before it kicks off again.
@Scott Hubbard: Thanking you!
@robert_feedmann_s: Thank you.
@Silvertin: Like most people, I suspect, I've got loads of things about 85% finished - both music and animations. :-) As I work my way through the genres, I've almost finished a Summertime song... just in time for Winter! Singing again, too... if that's what one can (humbly) call it? LOL! Cheers.
I hope that was a big step in the right direction for you guys. And thanks for all the free downloads. :-)
@Ali Warlow aka Harm0nizer: LOL! Yeah, it really does, doesn't it? It must have been subconsciously. Still... can't beat a bit of Hoff! :-)
Awesome song!
@Jai Cletz: ¡Gracias! Gracias a Google Translate. :-)
love the intro. Great song
enchanting!
@Posh Boy: Thank you. I'll slowly work my way through the genres! :-D
@Posh Boy: Thank you. You must elaborate on the 'intriguing' aspect. :-D
Some great sounds. Like!
You've got a great bunch of songs, but this one is something special. Excellent! :-D
@Plex Auchta: LOL! I didn't think you did. Sehr lustig! Danke!
@Plex Auchta: I don't know if I was an accident! :-O But it was somewhere around that time and I spent many, many years at the arcades, growing up. So Green Beret was on the list! Thanks for listening. :-)
@Tr▲sher Deckno: Yeah, I realy enjoyed this section. Thanks.
@Tr▲sher Deckno: Right back at ya! :-)
@Tr▲sher Deckno: Thank you. :-)
