Founded in 2003 by composer and pianist Tomas Sykora, Nedaba has been
on the Czech jazz scene for eight years now. The aim of the band from the
very onset has been to create and perform its own works. Since its forming,
Nedaba has played at numerous festivals and clubs throughout the entire
country and in some European metropoles (Berlin, Bratislava, Paris). The
band’s current repertoire is made up of the compositions by Tomas Sykora,
whose works can be categorized as modern jazz. In 2009 Nedaba recorded
its debut cd Songs about... Individual band members also work as soloists
and sidemen in other projects.
