Tel Aviv's Sourasky Medical Center will restrict admissions and visits by African refugees out of concern for the spread of infectious diseases to other patients - a move that has sparked condemnation from the Health Ministry and doctors across Israel.
Under the new rules, all migrants and refugees admitted to the hospital must have a chest X-ray, the majority are not allowed into the hospital to visit patients.
In maternity wards, nurseries and neonatal units as well as children's wards they are separated from other patients.
The BBC's Dan Damon speaks to people at the center of the row including a Ghanaian man who says he was locked up in hospital with his family and the hospital CEO.
