    Native Dog started Dj'in at the age of 19 whilst studying at Lismore- it was the breakbeat sound that compelled him to start buying slabs of wax rather than buying textbooks or proper food. Living on a diet of ice-cream and weetbix for a good year straight (whilst studying nutrition..) and continuing to gather and explore new music styles and dj technique- 5-6 years on he is lovin the shit more than ever and will drop anything and everthing between the spectrum of breaks, dubstep, drum and bass, hiphop, bass-heavy electronica, funk, mad blunted jazz, minimal glitchy stuff, sci fi movie themes and new styles by the day- I call it the dope spectrum and it goes with a healthy love of diggin'.
    When I put songs that want to play together I use 2 turntables, Serato (lots of loops and triggers), the Kaos pad and the MPC1000 on occasions. Beat production is another passion, often jamming and doing live shows with talented vocalist/MC amigos.
