Yazz 'The Only Way Is Up' Goshi Goshi Remix

Following on from the success of the Sidechains remix of Blue Pearl’s ‘Naked In The Rain 2009’, UK based Big Life Records continue to revisit their extensive back catalogue with fresh new mixes of Yazz’s ‘The Only Way Is Up’.

In July 1988 Yazz’s ‘The Only Way Is Up’ gave Big Life records their first number one and set the label up to have an excellent run of top 40 hits which lasted over 10 years.

Now back for 2009, Yazz’s ‘The Only Way Is Up’ has been bought back to life by Goshi Goshi.

Goshi Goshi’s debut, ‘Lock Shot’ was massively hyped across blogspehere as well picking up support from Kissy Sellout, Andy George & Jaymo and The Loose Cannons. ‘Lock Shot’ went on to be signed to Norman Cook’s Southern Fried label and Goshi Goshi continued to make their mark with remixes of The Young Punx and Autokratz for the mighty Kitsune.

The release date for the full 320kbps package of Yazz ‘The Only Way Is Up 2009’ is 7th September.

Also on remix duties there is Miami based house producer Robbie Rivera (which you can sample via the Youtube link), The Tastemakers alter-ego, Soulmakers deliver something for the funkier floors whilst a big room trance mix comes from Nathan C & Ben Preston.
