Deep, soulful and powerful - this is how one would describe the vocals of Natalie Peris, Croatia´s leading EDM singer / songwriter. Recognized internationally, Natalie prides herself with collaborations with some of the biggest names in the electronic music genre and releases that have hit the very top of dance charts around the globe thus claiming her as one of the most highly demanded vocalists in the scene.
After spending her childhood in Vancouver, Canada, Natalie continued to develop her talent in Croatia where she enrolled in Vatroslav Lisinski music school for piano and singing, and Rock Academy for guitar and orchestra. After years of performing as a lead singer in various jazz bands, Natalie decided to make a great turnover in her career by switching to electronic dance music with her first single "Dance with you" with Jerry Ropero.
However, Natalie discovered her true musical identity in the progressive house scene when she was offered to write her following single „Disco Belle“. The track, which without a doubt skyrocketed Natalie´s popularity in the EDM scene, was released on Above & Beyond´s label Anjunadeep and featured on the annual compilation Anjunadeep :02. „Disco Belle“ has been proclaimed as the best track of the album.
With the support of A-list artists such as Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz and many others, her voice became desirable among producers worldwide which lead to collaborations with many other talented dance producers such as Sebastian Krieg, Audien, Cressida, Claes Rosen, Cramp, Matias Lehtola, Cressida etc. The demand for Natalie´s vocals resulted with another successful collaboration with the Slovenian tech house talent Beltek. Their track "Eclipse", which has been recorded in Umek´s Ljubljana studio, was released on Armada´s label Pilot 6. Prior to the official release date "Eclipse" received great support in radio shows by Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and many others while only in a few days jumping up to several thousand youtube views.
It´s safe to say how 2010. has definitely been a good year, as Natalie´s rising career led to her first solo EP "Who You Are“. The EP which has been released on the oldest and most respectable underground house label in the US - Nervous Records, consisted two original timeless vocal house tunes produced by the rising talent Audien on the track "Who You Are" and Claes Rosen on "Embrace The Sunshine".
Following the tides of music, Natalie moved to Germany to pursue her dream. Collaborating with Sebastian Krieg once again resulted with the birth of their progressive
house masterpiece "Where love lives" which was also the track to which DJ Chuckie opened his first ever radio show on BBC1.
Teaming up with the IDMA awarded Starkillers, Natalie has received massive support by some of the biggest names in the dance scene such as David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia on their first project „Shut it down“ which has been released on Defected´s label Azuli, and also included on the Azuli A-list and Defected Most Rated Ibiza 2012 compilations.
Considering the great working vibe between the two artists, it was just a matter of time when a next progressive masterpiece would be born. Latest news regarding Natalie´s career lead us to her latest and most successful release so far „What does tomorrow bring“ written in collaboration with Starkillers and Perfecto artist Richard Beynon.
