Max Raptor sound like…the visceral claws of Great British rock n’ roll frantically disembowelling American alt-rock with a partisan punk attitude. There is nothing remotely Jurassic about this Midland conceived 4 piece whose forthright narrative and devastating live set is spearheading a hungry horde of New Wave British Alt-Rock bands.

Having cut their carnivorous teeth landing support slots with The Zutons and Canadian punk-rockers Billy Talent, the Max Raptor boys embarked on a UK tour supporting British punk legends The Stranglers in February this year, to riotous applause. Playing to such a well established and specific fanbase as The Stranglers could have been risky, but time and time again Max Raptor prove their credentials in the live habitat, conquering new fans everywhere their rapturous sound can be heard.

Produced by Sam Bell, whose studio credits include Bloc Party, REM, Snow Patrol, Weezer and Editors, ‘The Great And The Good’ is a choice cut of ballsy modern guitar music, complete with anthemic gang vocals, a chorus to die for, and a lashing rhythm section that reeks of the most pungent post-gig sweaty tee.

Already confirmed to play some, soon to be announced, rock festivals this summer, the ravenous Max Raptor are set to run amok in 2010.
