About

Ian's first exposure to dance music was back in the early 90s when he used to listen to Carl Cox mix tapes and occasionally manage to bypass the door staff at Cream to see some outstanding artists. Attending clubs like Cream, and later nights like Circus and Sankeys, provided Ian with an opportunity to connect with something he loved. Thanks to nights like this Ian spent many of his hard earned pennies at record shops such as 3 Beat and Eatern Bloc Records. Early influences for Ian included the likes of Halo and Hipp-E, Onionz and of course the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Dave Seamen and Nick Warren. Since the early days Ian has gone on to be involved in many nights across the UK including Tribal Sessions, Kai Zen and Alter Ego, a new night that will be starting up in Scotland. Ian has featured as Gemma Furbank's Dexposure DJ on Manchester Global Radio, he has also featured on NIkki Flame's Hotwired Radio Show and Ian has completed two podcasts for Exposure UK. Besides being involved in the new Alter Ego night in Scotland which promises to be big, Ian has also been asked to join a new venture called This Is Progressive and more information on this will be available soon.

In regards to style of music Ian really does play across all genres and really does not want to be pigeonholed as a DJ that plays a specific style. He sets span from anything from breakbeat, to dubstep, to techno and progressive house. If he was to agree on any style it would simply be electronic music!!! His influences at present include James Zabiela, Max Cooper, Sasha, John Digweed, Mauro Norti, Flying Point and Synthetic Epiphany. Basically anything with a great melody and makes you want to move!!!

If you have visited this page, Ian would like to thank you for your time and he hopes you enjoyed the music that is available.
