Quintet for Horn and Strings: County Fair Op. 70 (Re-balanced)This short approachable piece intentionally blurs the boundary between strictly serious contemporary classical and popular music. In that respect, reflects the influences of Aaron Copland, Michael Tippett, Malcolm Arnold, Adnan Saygun and Gerald Finzi. There is nothing complicated about it and it was written as a tone painting of any county fair you may have enjoyed.
