About
Nada meaning sound, Deva is the name given to celestial beings in Hinduism. Nada Deva is the sounds of The Protege and Miss B. Hailing from Edmonton, Nada Deva is inspired by esoteric broken beats. By fusing together the elements of gnarly bass and epic melodies, it creates the perfect balance; yin and yang.
The Protege has Been rocking Edmonton's underground since 2003, with legendary crews: Gomp, THC, Trancecore, and inAhome. It began with playing piano from the age of 6, which eventually evolved into mixing. He was heavily influenced by industrial and hard rock, which transformed into breakbeats and electro, and drum & bass. From the beginning The Protege was named and adopted by the original Gomp crew. and now Astral Harvest. The protege is used to playing at really intimate events with full decor, rad hall parties and house parties. His DJing evolved to throwing shows, the zodiac series: age of aquarius, running of the bulls, virgon, and sting of the scorpion. You can always expect great things from The Protege.
Miss B has been in love with music for as long as she can remember. It started with her first cassette player and singing along to Madonna. Music has always played a big role in her life. She was first introduced to house music when she was 16 but didn't start liking it until a few years later. Shambhala was her first big party, and that is where the love of breaks and dubstep came from. It just seemed natural that DJing came next. Miss B's first show was NAPT at the starlite room in September of 2010. With only an opening slot, she rocked that dance floor.
Making their first appearance together at Astral Harvest Music Festival, Nada Deva will continue to elevate the vibrations of the dance floor.
