Mwen's journey into electronic music began in 2005 when she joined Leeds based live drum and bass band Hayashi as a vocalist. A successful 3 year run with Hayashi included live performances for BBC Radio, performance at Leeds Festival, support slots for PENDULUM, SKREAM and PRIME CUTS and culminated with the release of the album 'Bad Machine'. In 2009, however, it was time to move on to fulfill an artistic mission of becoming a unique talent in the UK music scene as not only a singer but as a musician, songwriter, live performer, producer and DJ. A move to London and a focus on developing solo material is allowing this mission to be fulfilled in steps. With her solo tracks receiving radio play from DJs such as BBC Radio 1's ROB DA BANK, MARY ANNE HOBBS, BBC6's TOM ROBINSON and having appeared on the same bill as the likes of ZERO 7, JON KENNEDY and CELT ISLAM, the future is looking bright for Mwen.

Currently Mwen writes, records and produces all her own music.
