...or at least, that's what I used to do. Lately it seems like everyone is changing genres, with the majority moving to dubstep and bassline music production. I *want* to do that, but whenever I sit down to produce these days my attention strays and I find myself picking up my guitar or my mandolin. There's just something about the immediacy of acoustic instruments that speaks to the soul - and without really even trying, I'm finding myself with half of an acoustic pop album written. Once a few more songs are written, it'll be time to hit the studio (mine or perhaps someone else's) and record all this crap. *shrug*. I don't pretend to understand it, but if there's one thing I've learned over the years it's that to ignore the muse is folly.
