You gotta get the Brugal or Barcelo out for this one. ROMO.
My cousins always used to tell me that I needed to chill the fuck out with my Bachata obsession. Indeed, it's an understatement to say that I'm obsessive about Bachata. The stories, sentiment, arrangement, rawness, sincerity, dance - everything. I fucking love it. The essence of it all leads to 1 thing alone - bitterness.
Most of the Bachateros don't even have a great voice, it's their sincerity that makes it and especially in the older tracks it's noticeable. I have a lot of favorite Bachateros, but for this one I focused on 1 in particular - Luis Segura. The big boss. That's the dude right there and
since I can't sing and he will be setting the atmosphere, the guitar will take the honors.
Mixing in Psychedelic and Lo Fi influences with a hint of Dub and Jose Jose. Yeah JOSE MOTHERFUCKING JOSE!
