    Lyrics:

    Step 1 - Hypothesis

Have you listened to your heart, listened to the beat?
Listened to the rhythm, the rhythm of the street?
Have you listened to the skeptics, who tell you to prove it?
Do you listen to the punks, who just don't give a shit?
Have you listened to the pop stars, with all their dollar bills?
Have you listened to the addicts, who took too many pills?

    Step 2 - Trials

    Trial 1:

A blinding light is all that I see.
    Intolerable sounds transmitted instantly.
I look up to find an imaginary box.
I know that it's empty - even though it's locked.

    Trial 2:

Fatigued blind animal is trying to survive,
Only to discover that he wasn't alive.
Characters together random spaces in between,
Does anybody really know what they were meant to mean?

    Trial 3:

    Life is a fantasy
    Death is a dream
All I see is a blur
    And no one agrees
That to "be" is a verb
    Without a meaning

    So pay all your taxes
    And pay all your fees
Choose a side. Pick a faction.
    Join ours pretty please.
    Take pride. Take action,
So we can pass our decrees.

Went to school, a private college,
    So that I could see
    If there was any knowledge
    There, waiting for me.
Got no smarter, go no facts
    but I got a degree.

    Trial 4:

This is not a song. This is not a song. This is not a song. This is not a song. This is not a song.
This is not a song. This is not a song. This is not a song. This is not a song. This is not a song.
    This is a protest.

    Analysis:

    We are pretend precious predecessors,
predicting prejudices, preaching prey and predator.
    Previous premonitions, precursor to preparations,
presenting predicaments for the preoccupied President.

    Conclusion:

    Precocious.
    Preposterous.
    Precarious.
    Pretentious.
