from the summer fund drive at KPFK, the last part of this interview with the late Peter Camejo, former Green Gubernatorial and Vice Presidential candidate, is amazing to me now. In many ways, things Peter accuses Kerry of here came to pass four years later under Obama. As a journalist, I support none of the parties, but felt amazed I was the only one willing to allow the discourse. This was a MAJOR issue for higher-ups KPFK management at the time, who expressly did not want to cover third parties for political reasons. In the end Bush "won" anyway! and this clip becomes even more prophetic.

This was live radio during a fund drive and I really hate how high my voice gets. Just exhausted from being onair too long and barking for donations.

Peter Camejo has been dead for more than a year now. Prop 14 and redistricting have made third parties nearly disappear. I used to set him up to tee off and he just went.
