About

Filipino born and Miami raised, Rachel Tumada a.k.a. 'Ms. Mada', is an upcoming DJ, & an aspiring producer that is rapidly making herself known throughout the underground movement in Miami, FL and abroad. With more than 3 years of experience on the decks, her sound has developed quite rapidly from it's early stages of tech house to the now heavy, bass ridden deep house and deep techno that flourishes in each set she plays. If you catch her set you'll instantly recognize her blend of classic Chicago house grooves resonating within the boundaries of disco and jazz whilst hinting of a subtle & twisted deep techno influence emulating the Detroit sound.

For the past 3 years, Rachel completed gigs at venues throughout Miami including residencies at Electric Pickle and Treehouse, as well as special guest appearances at Mansion, Club Space, and Villa 221. Since her recruitment by LINK head-honcho, Davide Danese in September 2011, Rachel has become one of LINK's star players (being the newest and only female resident) opening up for some of the biggest names in today's underground electronic music world such as Ambivalent, Anja Schneider, Butane, Camea, Cozzy D, D'Julz, Dan Curtin, Danny Daze, Delete (of Fur Coat), DJ Tennis, DJ Three, Inxec, James What, Luca Bacchetti, Magda, Marc Houle, Margaret Dygas, Martin Buttrich, Martinez, Mathias Kaden, My Favorite Robot, Philipp Jung of M.A.N.D.Y., Richy Ahmed, Stacey Pullen, & tINI… not to mention also getting the exclusive opportunity to open and close as a special guest for the first ever weekly "Kontrol" party featuring Art Department and Shaun Reeves at Mansion late March 2012.

With the great opportunities she was given the last 2 years, her appearances at venues throughout Florida and abroad have made her a force to be reckoned with not only locally, but internationally abroad as well. With appearances in venues such as Rain Nightclub, Confession Nightclub in Aruba, and La Concha in Puerto Rico, her highly demanded performances in both spectrums further proves that there is no end in sight for her continuous growth.
