Need a gift for a gifted musician?
The origins of Felos is not known; it is said that he is of another origin of the human race not know to us.
Some even claim he is of a sector not reachable by our current technology. Perhaps maybe a different dimention but
most definately a place of Bass!
(F)or(E)ver(L)ing(O)ut(S)in FOR EVER LIVING OR SINS FELOS!!
Felos and 3 other friends created DME in 1990; Jay Pee, Mr. Wise of the Flava of Love show and. DEEE,
This graff crew was built out of admiration for the art but around in 1993 DME was left with one member:Felos!
The others took on separate projects:To some it was a fad but to Felos it was something different,
it was a form of expression.
In the middle of 1993 he recruited breek, lack, oils ( RIP ), Air, Skem, and following member Siner. They threw up in various locations
around the Miami metropolis. The usual routine ended up at Fat Tuesday on South Beach where they would hang out after storming
the city. From 1993 threw 1997 the graff fame lead to Felos meeting club promoters and the next thing he knew he was rubbing elbos
with the elites at all the hot spots. Washington Square, The Kitchen Club, The Church, Fat Black Pussy Cat,
and NFA (No Fucking Around).
In 1997 he was introduced to a different vibe of music that he was not used to through his little brother Tanton (DME). He invited
Felos to a rave called Feedom at the Port of Miami. Thereafter, he recruited Insta, Teknik, Shade, and Axiom to DME. He would
continued to frequent all the old hip hop spots threwout South Beach: In fact, Society Hill was where he first saw De La
throwdown. De La credits Felos in his success of getting him some well diserved shining time.
Around the middle of 1998 he decided he would take DME threw Louisiana, San Antonio, New Mexico, San Diego, Tijuana, Los Angeles,
San Francisco, Utah, Nebraska, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Jacksonville. He returend to Miami in late 2002 with (DME) Siner who is a big part of (DME) and continued
to collect records here and there. Wreck gave him an opportunity to spin at Bass Session. Exzakt also booked Felos to spin at Omega for
his going away to Germany party the headliner was the man him self The EGYPTIAN LOVER. It was also at this party where Exzakt gave Felos the title Mr. Felos. Thereafter, he teamed up with Teknik
and helped create Dadeabass Recordings with Emil and help from friend Doc Nasty.
In 2004 he teamed up with Teknik and Emil and created The 3 Amigos. They began to be booked by Culture Productions and shared the
spot light with such headliners as Dynamix II, Jackal & Hyde, Icey, Babyanne,
Craze, Anthony Rother, and Aux 88. Eventually Culture Productions gave them a shot to run their own party at Players in
Downtown, Miami. It was an after hours venue then from 5am - 10am every Friday night for the better part of 2004. The official
first party was The Throwdown featuring the first performance of Ghost in the Machine (Doc Nasty and Anthony) along with J-Nasty,
Synergist,DJ Le Spam, and Scratch D. OF DYNAMIX ll
In 2006 they recruited De La and in the WMC (Winter Music Conference) they released the Dropn Miami's Electro mix EP under Dadeabass
Recordings. It featured the club banger All Radio Is Dead and Doc Nasty's first official release of Back To The City.
This gave the DME Crew and Dadeabass a new platform for what was to come.
Felos continues to be booked threw and credits his success to Culture Productions and AJ of Contagious Musique. He continues
to push DME and Dadeabass Recordings and has now teamed with Doc Nasty and formed Supa Fresh Records. You don't know what
to expect from this graffiti street bomber slash dj gone producer but one thing is certain, bass is in the equation.
