Retro 2, the second in my new Retro series is a real mixture of music from 1985-1990 & ranges from Hip Hop, Rap, DC Gogo to Electro & LAtin Hip Hop to pre rave Breakbeat with a heavy rap influence throughout. The point of this mix is to demonstrate what I believe to be some of the music that influenced the early 90's rave scene so I would describe this mix as a precursor to Jungle & Drum & Bass. This mix starts at 110bpm, slows down, speeds up & ends up at 128bpm & was mixed using 100% vinyl. I hope you enjoy the journey.
