Mr.Bristow has been playing a funky mix of hip hop, house, breaks, drum & bass, funk, reggae, pop and soul for over 15 years.

He has mixed & scratched in clubs across London both as a solo performer and with bands, including ‘Groove Jam/ 1 i Bear’ (alongside members of the Brand New Heavies & Dub Conspiracy) Super Soul Soldiers, Sir Plus Gramma, Left Step Band and The Scribes (http://www.myspace.com/scribesmusic).

After several years playing in bars and clubs in St. Albans, Mr Bristow now mostly plays in London, and has done so alongside hip hop acts including DJ Yoda, Lethal Bizzle, Shy FX, Bad Company, Fabio, Shut Up & Dance, Mr Thing and many more.

He's held residencies at ‘No Rest For The Wicked’, a live drum & bass and breaks night at The Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel (see www.nrftw.com for details) and also at the legendary nu-skool breaks event ‘ The Vinyl Touch’ (alongside Breakbeat veterans Ed 209, Swifty B & Ellis Dee to name but a few).

Mr Bristow & Swifty B were awarded the ' DJ Team of the Year' title after entering a Converse DJ competition in 2010. The pair also a won a competition through Don't Stay In and performed at the Dance Island Festival in 2010.

Aside from breaks, Mr Bristow was also a regular DJ at renowned hip hop night ‘Brand New Beat’ (www.brandnewbeat.com) at The Social, Oxford Circus, which regularly featured some of the finest UK hip hop talent.

He's also performed as part of a 9 piece live Hip Hop band, ‘Kaned & Able’ at 'We Have Fun', 333 Club, Old street and The Horn Pub, St Albans.

Mr Bristow has been interviewed in DJ Magazine and on ITV’s London Tonight, been featured on Pioneer's DJ Sounds website, and taught DJ skills at events including The Princes Trust Urban Music Festival, BPM Show and the Activ8 festival, Hyde Park.
