@Halogen: it is not you; your powers of deduction are sound. it actually prompted me to re upload the song after remixing the bass in. at this point i think it is an upload/stream issue as it doesn't do it in the master. ya keeping me honest mate!

i like the way you've kept the sound of this track quite simple and melodic by keeping it quite minimal. its so easy to over complicate a track when sometimes leaving things out can bring more to a sound than adding...or do i just sound pretentious?

@Lucy Hunt: hey! not at all thanks a lot actually. i had gone through some head scratching on this track and considered adding more sounds (originally bird sounds from a local arboretum) but i sort of really got into the idea that the songs exists for different people where ever it does, and not to add too much forced location or vibe by adding more elements. just sort of letting the track become everyone else's. now maybe i sound pretentious... ;)

Spot on Mr Skwirl! You aren't using BBE Sonic maxmiser by any chance? If so turn down the processing a bit, might clear that clipping issue. IF not ignnore my ramblings. It takes nothing away from a brilliant melodic piece!

@nomsi: well this is the final master so i think at this point it's just sc compression if it occurs. this song was mixed the quietest out of this ep to accommodate that bass. much learning has been done however, and although i'm not using the BBE but i'll certainly remember that in future! thanks mate!!
