Any feedback on this one welcome.
I looked at removing the background noise of the from the cafe scene on the vocals, but it didn't sound right to me so i have kept it in for the time being as it's important to the film...
The whole track was built around the clip from the film, no adjustments were made to the vocals and the timings are identical to the film scene.
The scene is from the film Heat and the 2 actors are Robert de Niro and Al Pacino and the first time they have appeared in a film together in the same scenes.
Comments/feedback always welcome
Cheers

@Nick Robson: With the ' what are they saying ' i wanted to leave it hanging there...plus it worked with the overall timing of the track....in hindsight i could have chopped it up and then distributed along the track as needed..but we live n learn ;)

@diSapia: Cheers Disapia..the whole track was built around the sample, i guess i wanted to get the scene from the film as the main part of the film..

Oki then.....added some kick to the whole track, re made another midi drum loop using a different setting in Operator ( i'm sure there's an easier way to do it, but hey...still learning! ) and added that to the previous loop. Adjusted a few bits here and there as well :)
Comments always welcome, thank you

Like the track, maybe a little sample heavy, could let the beats and groove do the talking!

I think the vocal works quite well, I can hardly hear the kick drum though, the snare has more punch. Also I think something with more impact at 3.50, 'what are they saying' doesnt seem like a powerful statement for the track to kick off again. I quite like all the sounds and the whole idea though and is one of the best things you've done if the beat isnt taken from a sample pack :).
