THE PERSON BEHIND THE MONIKER

Bo Amir Iqram found his love for music at the age of 10 when his father bought him his first guitar. From there he started venturing into several genres and got deeper into music and gathered his own sounds and style. With a wide range of genres such as Neo Soul, Heavy Metal, Indie Rock, House and Down Tempo music just to name a few, have influenced Bo to start producing especially after the discovery of programs such as Fruity Loops and Logic. From the early days of his jazz rock band, Seven, it was time that gave him monikers and projects such as Bedroom Sanctuary, CosmicSpaceMunkys, Mr. Fluff, IMMA*BLEEP*YOUUP!!!, RECovery, Heavie Head, Chopstah!, Made Faceless and many more. But to Bo, this is just the beginning of something big.

THE PRODUCER

This moniker has been in the dance scene since 2007 where Mr. Fluff produces tracks and releases them under labels such as Love International, 220VDRecordings, Ambasada Records and the world renowned Vicious Records. In 2009, he was awarded “Producer of The Year” by Choons Awards with his club banger entitled “Caution”. Having releases such as “Summeradio EP”, “Skateboard EP”, “Dark Secrets EP” also not forgetting “Louder EP” which was supported by international DJs such as David Guetta, who featured it in his podcast sets, and more. He also have done bootlegs such as The Potbellez’s “Don’t Hold Back” and also the song entitled “Sweetness” by the famous Jimmy Eat World which led him to be a soundcloud.com sensation where in under a week he had more than 3,000 listens on each track and the tracks even made a massive impression on the famous Blake Jarrell and it was featured on his podcast episodes. “Mr. Fluff” also started a label named “Pixelated Waves” where there will be new releases of himself and other artists such as “IMMA*BLEEP*YOUUP!!!”, “MIDI Life Crisis”, “Nicky C”, “DJ Hightech”, “VNRP” and more. The first release will be his original track entitled “Kings Of The Night”. Now, hitting the final quarter of 2012, Mr. Fluff is officially signed up to the world renowned, Vicious Recordings of Australia and this is the label held responsible for AVICII, Angger Dimas and many more and that’s just the beginning for this music maker.

THE DJ

Mr. Fluff is known for reading the crowd’s expectations when it comes to rocking the dance floor. In 2010, he was shortlisted as a finalist on Juice DJ Quest and was awarded 2nd in the competition. Not letting himself down, he started promoting his mixes and played several more shows which led him to cities such as, Las Vegas, Xi’an, Bandung and Singapore for clubs such as Bedroom, Fantasy Club, Zouk KL, Tao @ Venetian, Avalon @ Singapore and many more. Has had the chance to rock the dance floor and festivals alongside Congorock, Bloody Beetroots, M.A.N.D.Y., Chemical Brothers, Toxic Avenger, Groove Armada, Dirty South, Erick Morillio, Paul Oakenfold and many more. With every single show packed with energy, hype and live vocal showcase, this is one DJ that you wouldn’t want to miss out on.
