    Patti (Rocky Mountain)
Written by Rocky Mountain, 28/2/79 Recorded Summer1979

Over the years, Bri wrote a lot of songs merely to amuse himself and I think this would definitely be in that category. The lyrics are what we in the family would call “Typical Bri”. I mean, pairing ‘tatty’ and ‘chapati’? and then coining the word ‘thermostatty’? Try singing along…it ain’t easy.
    (Gary Reeves)

    Well strange slight Patti
    Noone could call you fatty
When you spin you look like a mop
Well your clothes are never tatty
    And you live on chapatti
And wherever you go you don’t flop

Well your house is a flatty
    You’re sometimes quite ratty
And you can tell funk from pop
    You’re a little bit batty
    And you dress quite natty
You’re the queen of the disco bop

    (Chorus)
    Patti’s no fatty
    She’s really mean
And if you are her man
All you’ll get is the lean
    She’s built like a runner
    An old runner bean
    She’s the meanest woman
    You ever seen

When you spin you look like a mop
And wherever you go you don’t flop
And you can tell funk from pop
You’re the queen of the disco bop

    Well a capacity of Patti
    Is to be quite catty
I never think that you will drop
    Your hair is never matty
And you wear a strange hatty
And it’s clear you’re the cream of the crop

    You can be quite bratty
    You have no thermostatty
And you certainly carry a whop
Well I’m running out of atty
And I’d change the rhyme to utty
But this is where I have to stop

    Chorus x 2

    Brian Reeves: Vocals / Guitars
