The essence of our studio is a laptop, an Apogee Duet, a Gefell Microtech, and an explosion of instruments all located within our home, a wooden bungalow in Thailand. The inherent noisefloor has forced us into a different way of recording, and pushed into a new approach to songwriting.
Crickets and night creatures are undeniably and unavoidably recorded into the heart of the kick which was captured by a mic-ing my foot stomping on the wooden floor.
