Lake County (IL) listeners who are unfamiliar with the FAFSA form can get free help in completing and submitting their 2013 FAFSA forms at one of about 25 financial aid workshops held across Lake County starting in mid-January. The University Center of Lake County, in partnership with the College of Lake County, Northeastern Illinois University, the Waukegan Public Library, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) and a number of area high schools will host these workshops. Volunteers trained by ISAC will be available to assist families and each event will have at least one Spanish-speaking volunteer. For the list of workshop dates, times, and locations, and to register to attend, visit www.ucenter.org.
