About

UK based Moonshot (Daniel Kent and Richard Wolfe) combine dark, urban beats with pop melodies to create songs that are challenging yet accessible. Blending the pop sensibilities of 80s electronic bands with the Bristol led trip hop pioneers of the 90s, Moonshot occupy a unique and relevant space in the current music scene.
New album, Angels Wear Black, continues the bands prolific output which has produced six albums and three EPs since 2001. Consisting of ten original tracks, the album blends strong atmospheres and narratives to create stories of urban life both past and present.
Moonshot’s influences include bands such as Pet Shop Boys, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode and Portishead as well as artists as diverse as Pink Floyd and Tori Amos.
Moonshot are also keen remixers and are always very happy to hear from artists who would like to have their tracks reinterpreted.Check out 'remixes' set on here to see what we've done. Our most recent remix was for Gary N - his Lights & Sound Mix.You can hear the track on his site.
Moonshot are currently looking to sign with an electro or dance label - if you are interested in hearing more from us, please get in touch. Please visit www.moonshotmusic.com for full discography, reviews and to hear and purchase music.
