Me & Jens Andersson (together known as Tennishero) made this little mix to sum up the musical direction for our monthly "cheesy not cheesy" clubnights in Gothenburg. This continous mix features some edits/bootlegs by us and other awesome stuff! Album Sampler Autumn 2008 Uploaded by tennishero Start following Send a message on October 06, 2008 21:51

monstrWebsite
http://www.monstr.co.uk
The guys behind monstr first met at school in ’83 brought together by their shared obsession with the emerging Electro scene and the electronic pop sounds of Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys and Yazoo and earlier music they’d found on dusty old LPs from Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk.
Starting out with just a Casio MT-68 and a Casio SK1, they soon moved on to a Moog Prodigy and Roland SH-101 and began exploring the hidden depths of the synthesizer.
In later years they sweated to acid house at the Hacienda, witnessed Sasha’s rise at Shelleys and since 1992 have held DJ residencies in the UK at Golden and Reckless spinning throbbing electronic funk to the eager masses. Finally after 25 years of musical tinkering they started to take it seriously and formed monstr.
Yeaaah ... MeanBased !
