The trio from Buenos Aires, Argentina began the Monster Of Density moniker in early 2011 and in just two years they are on the cusp of something great. With appearances on 99percentrecordings, Bermudos, Crossfrontier Audio and Stripped Digital their blend of Progressive House and Techno is really starting to earn them a good fan following . For their 'Cold and Flu' interpretation Monster of Density have provided a deep, pulsating rework that builds into a real monster of a track. The thick walls of low end frequencies meld together with the wavering atmospherics to create the ultimate wave of hypnotic energy at the outset. MOD manage to work shorter snips of the vocal elements in along with some really ominous sound design and gargantuan sweeps. The drop presents an extended section of the vox amidst an emotional wasteland of gaseous atmospheres. The piece climaxes with an atmospheric fury as the vocal elements get further drenched with hazy effects and the swirling backdrop becomes a blur of melodic energy.
