Love the percussion. Simple, but effective. The reverb on the snare though isn't siting right. Feels like it either needs to be pulled back or you need to go more over the top with it.

@DInterplay: Thanks man :) . It still needs a bunch of work here and there. This track really has me excited.

@trevster: Totally agree - it has a very cool "dessert" kind of sound. It's rather thought-provoking.

Lovely beginning. I am curious which direction you are going to take this.

nice track bro. I can hear in my minds eyes the sound of waves breaking and seagulls calling in the background.

This sounds great. Actually reminds me of the stuff I was doing a few years back.

And Dj Shadowesque, i like the sample, a bit grittier perhaps??

Could the scratching be half speed, i'm not sure it suited the track as dominantly as it came in, it builds nicely later as a subtext to the piece...

Scratching could be a bit tighter, but I like what you are trying to do.

@Dynamic Interplay: really appreciate the great feedback. I've found that quantizing scratches without squeezing the life out of them is hard. I think re-recording is a better option.

cool track, the piano line sets off some nice memories for me, like all good music should. just wish i could remember what the memories were actually about lol. maybe the drums are a bit too far forward in the mix for me, otherwise lovely elements in the track.
