With a residency at the infamous wild child meet up The Wolf Party at Le Souk and ties to the sleaze rock dance party "Trash" at Webster Hall, Brooklyn based Monikkr didn't shock fans when releasing his first single under the name "Illegal." The party loving New York DJ and producer blends rock&roll, techno, electro pop, and indie dance beats that are known to bring crowds to his ultimate goal: "to make the audience dance." 

Despite his rise to the top during 2011 and 2012, Monikkr has been DJing and producing for fifteen years after growing up playing guitar in rock bands. Fusing his rock&roll background with his love for EDM creates his signature sound which he describes as, "anything with an edge that can move the floor." Constantly staying ahead of trends, fans should expect some glitch hop infused beats appearing on his Soundcloud page in the near future to continue to
diversify his sound.

"Illegal" featuring Lydia Hrela is available on Beatport and iTunes and new electro single "Ran Out of Love" featuring Channii is due to be released this Fall. Remixes for club favorites Zedd and top 40 chart toppers Gym Class Heroes and Rihanna testify to Monikkr's ability to cater to any crowd. 

With a growing fan base and big time gigs at Webster Hall opening for the likes of Skrillex, Dada Life, Mimosa, RJD2 and Datsik, Monikkr is a name on the radar of electro loving club kids in the five boroughs and further. He is currently signed to BIG Management and has played gigs at hotspots from Sin Sin to Pacha. Working constantly out of his Brooklyn studio, the producer is working on his own label, ROCADENCE and hosting a mix show on the
dance/electronic channel of Music Choice weekly. With more gigs, collaborations, and tricks up his sleeve, Monikkr is continuing to lead the way for the future of New York City club music.
