Monica started well the year, playing at a concept Jane Zhang Arts Gallery in Frankfurt and at WMC 2011 @ TMR in Miami; her global name recognition reached a peak in 2010, was a very busy year for Monica, DJ’ing the international 5 stars hotel scene in many different countries such as Jordan, UK, Maldives, Morocco, Ibiza and Qatar.

A German’s descendent who was born in Brazil, her name has become synonymous with great music, gaining worldwide recognition in the industry. A fashion model as well, this DJ has received many compliments from the press for her fine musical taste. She started her career in Sao Paulo as the Resident DJ at the SKYE Bar, in the Hotel Unique, one of the most exclusive and famous Boutique & Design Hotels in the world. A very respected DJ name in Brazil, she symbolizes cool heartrending and energetic sounds, who has received many compliments from the press for her fine musical taste and technical skills. If we could give an approximate definition of her sets on a dance floor, she loves to play everything as long as it’s just great music. Her DJ Sets are unique, built with lots of creativity and energy while mixing different styles of Deep House, Contemporary Disco, Tecky and Techno.  Some of the brands and parties she played for Apple (UK), Gumball Racing Party (UK), MTV, Audi, Puma, Diesel, Adidas, Nokia, Moët & Chandon, Ford Models, among many others.  She moved from Sao Paulo to London in 2005 to study Music Technology. Other than starring at the infamous Brixton Academy;  Monica’s first festival in London, the Antiworld Festival 070707, was one of her finest where she played alongside some of industries most talented artists such as, Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys) and DJ’s like Josh Wink, Thomas Schumacher and Steve Lawler. As a fashion model and a DJ, in London, Monica is resident DJ for the  Caligula parties, elected by VOGUE and Time Out as the “Fashionista London venue”.  Very passionate about her work, this “sexy grooving style” girl always strives to bring her best to the public. Her passion for music has given her the opportunity to contribute to media magazines and appear on television as a Brazilian DJ of European style.
