Sam Percival aka Modify Perspective is a 24 year old producer from Glastonbury UK, and based in Bristol, and is a co-creator of 'Liquifyah', one of Bristol's premier up-and-coming D&B Nights, regularly hosting nights at Basement 45 and moving to new venues in 2013.

Producing on and off since late 2010, DJing since early 2012. My laptop was stolen in April 2012 resulting in the loss of most of the files associated with the tracks I've uploaded on here from before them and it's taken me until December 2012 to get back to a stage where I could produce again.

All my tunes are made using Ableton Live 8 and I don't yet have any outboard gear or monitors, just a pair of headphones for reference at the moment. So yeah if anyone in the Southwest UK area is selling a pair of half decent monitors inbox me and let me know more! :D

I mostly listen to DnB in it's many forms, Liquid, Minimal, Drumstep, Neurofunk, Future Jazz, Jungle I love it all, but I am also inspired by a lot of other artists from all genres. So the 'Modify Perspective' concept was put in place by me as a way of justifying my need for variation, not just in terms of genre, but also production technique, flow, vibe and all the components that make music what it is. By Modifying your Perspective of anything you can interpret it in a variety of ways, keeping life fresh and vibrant, which is what I want my music to reflect.

The idea is, in the not too distant future, to take these tracks and play them out live with live instruments and musicians. In order to get to this point, I'm going to need some £££ to buy some much needed gear and 2 or 3 multi-talented and willing musicians with enough time to dedicate to this project.
